Ranjini Iyer

Ranjini Iyer was born in Germany, grew up in India, and now lives in Chicago with her husband and two sons. She trained as an engineer, purely because she hero worshipped her PhD holding father,and then took an MBA in the Unites States and decided to stay on. Careers as a small business owner, consultant, film producer, and non-profit organisation managing director followed, but a latent urge to write then took hold. Following the birth of her children she focused more on writing, appreciating the flexible hours that it also brought, and The Colossus is her first novel.
